I live in the suburbs of Chicago, and we’re bracing ourselves for a blizzard.  After it’s all over, some areas may be left with TWO FEET of snow on the ground.  We’re also expecting winds in excess of 30 mph!  The blizzard warning takes effect at 3:00 p.m. but it’s here already.  Traffic is crazy with people trying to get home, and last night the gas stations and grocery stores were insanely busy!  I’m going to take a ton of pictures…it sounds like this one could set a record in the books.  Fingers crossed we don’t lose power- that could make for a long 24 hours!  Time to hunker down!
