I know this is old news, but every time I hear the song “Dear John” by Taylor Swift, I get annoyed. The lyrics “Don’t you think I was too young to be messed with?” bugs the hell out of me. I’m a fan of both John AND Taylor’s music, but I think Taylor is a bit naive on this one. When she decided she was old enough to have sex with a notorious womanizer such as John Mayer, she became a consenting player in the game of love and war. You get what you get, sweetie.
